Returning a Momma Muscovy Duck and Her Brood to the Flock

When we have a Muscovy Duck become broody and start setting on eggs to hatch them, we like to move them to a house, and when possible, run of their own. Giving them the security of a nesting house that can be shut at night to help prevent predator attacks. Once the Ducklings are about a month old we move them back to the main Duck Run with the rest of the Ducks and other ducklings. This video shows how we do that, and it all went well till one “little bugger” decided to um… well… You’ll See!
